Tooling

The CPS Sektor tool system is an exciting new line of tooling released in 2015. Developed in collaboration with the manufacturer, CPS Sektor tools work on any machine that will hold a velcro maintenance pad and spin at 800 rpm or higher, such as one of the CPS planetary grinders. Super fast! Production rates range from 105 – 160 sq. ft. (10-15 m²) per minute. The CPS Sektor system works on soft, medium or hard floors and is designed to produce a lustrous, high gloss finish while reducing labor costs.

• Outstanding finish. The five step system shows gloss meter reading above 80.
• High production rate reduces labor and job costs.
• Available in 40, 80, 120, 200, 400, 800, 1500 and 3000 grit sizes.

Surface Preparation:

• 40 Grit (Grey): Aggressive surface removal. Opens concrete to accept armor densifier.
• 60 Grit (Orange): Removes scratches left behind from the 40 grit tool.
• 120 Grit (Black): Removes scratches left behind from the 40 and 60 grit tool. Prepares surface for Five Step polishing.

Five Step Polishing:

• 200 Grit (Blue): The First step will produce a lightly honed finish.
• 400 Grit (Red): The Second step will produce a matt finish.
• 800 Grit (White): The Third step will produce a low sheen finish.
• 1500 Grit (Yellow): The Fourth step will produce a high sheen finish.
• 3000 Grit (Green): The Fifth and final step will “pop” floors with a high gloss finish.

Ultra Polishing: (optional)

• 8000 Grit: If even more shine is desired, “ultra-pop” floors to a lustrous, high gloss finish with an 8000 grit maintenance pad under a high speed buffer/burnisher.
